Union positions are colored blue and Confederate positions are red. Lacks the name of the lithographer in the lower right corner. Geography and Map Division's copy bears annotations in pencil. This map was formerly in the possession of the Confederate topographic engineer, Maj. Jedediah Hotchkiss. In July 1948, the Library of Congress purchased his map collection.
