This is an excellent 1859 map of Vermont by A. J. Coolidge. This example covers the entire state as well as adjacent parts of New Hampshire and New York. It is very uncommon to find a mid-19th century exclusively depicting Vermont, as most maps of the period bundled it with New Hampshire. Identifies Killington Peak and Camel's Hump, now popular ski resorts. It also identifies various roads, rivers, mountain, passes, Coast Survey stations and an assortment of additional topographical details. The state seal is included above the title. Dated and copyrighted to A. J. Coolidge and engraved by G.W. Boynton.
